+ 사도행전 4,1-12
< 예수님 말고는 다른 누구에게도 구원이 없습니다. >
해설) 최고 의회에서 심문한 내용은 앉은뱅이의 치유와 사도들의 설교에 관한 것입니다. 둘 다 예수님의 이름과 관계됩니다. 앉은뱅이는 예수님의 이름으로 낫게 되고, 사도들은 부활하신 예수님의 이름을 알린 것입니다. 사도들이 전한 부활하신 예수님은 백성의 지도자들이 십자가에 처형한 나자렛 예수님입니다.
그 무렵 불구자가 치유받은 뒤, 1 베드로와 요한이 백성에게 말하고 있을 때에 사제들과 성전 경비대장과 사두가이들이 다가왔다. 2 그들은 사도들이 백성을 가르치면서 예수님을 내세워 죽은 이들의 부활을 선포하는 것을 불쾌히 여기고 있었다. 3 그리하여 그들은 사도들을 붙잡아 이튿날까지 감옥에 가두어 두었다. 이미 저녁때가 되었기 때문이다. 4 그런데 사도들의 말을 들은 사람들 가운데 많은 이가 믿게 되어, 장정만도 그 수가 오천 명가량이나 되었다. 5 이튿날 유다 지도자들과 원로들과 율법 학자들이 예루살렘에 모였다. 6 그 자리에는 한나스 대사제와 카야파와 요한과 알렉산드로스와 그 밖의 대사제 가문 사람들도 모두 있었다. 7 그들은 사도들을 가운데에 세워 놓고, “당신들은 무슨 힘으로, 누구의 이름으로 그런 일을 하였소?” 하고 물었다. 8 그때에 베드로가 성령으로 가득 차 그들에게 말하였다. “백성의 지도자들과 원로 여러분, 9 우리가 병든 사람에게 착한 일을 한 사실과 이 사람이 어떻게 구원받았는가 하는 문제로 오늘 신문을 받는 것이라면, 10 여러분 모두와 온 이스라엘 백성은 이것을 알아야 합니다. 나자렛 사람 예수 그리스도의 이름으로, 곧 여러분이 십자가에 못 박았지만 하느님께서 죽은 이들 가운데에서 다시 일으키신 바로 그분의 이름으로, 이 사람이 여러분 앞에 온전한 몸으로 서게 되었습니다. 11 이 예수님께서는 ‘너희 집 짓는 자들에게 버림을 받았지만 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되신 분’이십니다. 12 그분 말고는 다른 누구에게도 구원이 없습니다. 사실 사람들에게 주어진 이름 가운데에서 우리가 구원받는 데에 필요한 이름은 하늘 아래 이 이름밖에 없습니다.”

After the crippled man had been cured, 1 while Peter and John were still speaking to the people,the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees confronted them, 2 disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. 3 They laid hands on Peter and John and put them in custody until the next day, since it was already evening. 4 But many of those who heard the word came to believe and the number of men grew to about five thousand. 5 On the next day, their leaders, elders, and scribes were assembled in Jerusalem, 6 with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and all who were of the high-priestly class. 7 They brought them into their presence and questioned them, “By what power or by what name have you done this?” 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, answered them, “Leaders of the people and elders: 9 If we are being examined today about a good deed done to a cripple, namely, by what means he was saved, 10 then all of you and all the people of Israel should know that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead; in his name this man stands before you healed. 11 He is the stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”
묵상) 백성의 지도자들은 예수님을 아무 짝에도 쓸모없는 돌처럼 여겨 죽이지만, 하느님께서는 예수님을 다시 일으키시어 모퉁이의 머릿돌처럼 가장 중요한 사람, 곧 구원자로 삼으십니다. 인간을 구원할 수 있는 분은 오직 예수님뿐입니다. 베드로 사도는 최고 의회에서 다시 한 번 예수 그리스도의 죽음과 부활을 선포합니다.

< 예수님께서는 다가가셔서 빵을 들어 그들에게 주시고 고기도 주셨다. >
해설) 밤새 아무 것도 잡지 못한 제자들에게 부활하신 예수님께서는 행운의 오른쪽을 말씀하십니다. 그래서 제자들이 그물을 오른쪽에 던지니 그물을 끌어올릴 수 없을 만큼 많은 고기가 잡힙니다. 부활하신 예수님께서는 기적을 통해서 당신 자신을 다시 드러내 보이십니다. 그 때 비로소 제자들은 스승이신 예수님을 알아보게 됩니다.
그때에 1 예수님께서는 티베리아스 호숫가에서 다시 제자들에게 당신 자신을 드러내셨는데, 이렇게 드러내셨다. 2 시몬 베드로와 ‘쌍둥이’라고 불리는 토마스, 갈릴래아 카나 출신 나타나엘과 제베대오의 아들들, 그리고 그분의 다른 두 제자가 함께 있었다. 3 시몬 베드로가 그들에게 “나는 고기 잡으러 가네.” 하고 말하자, 그들이 “우리도 함께 가겠소.” 하였다. 그들이 밖으로 나가 배를 탔지만 그날 밤에는 아무것도 잡지 못하였다. 4 어느덧 아침이 될 무렵, 예수님께서 물가에 서 계셨다. 그러나 제자들은 그분이 예수님이신 줄을 알지 못하였다. 5 예수님께서 그들에게, “ 얘들아, 무얼 좀 잡았느냐?” 하시자, 그들이 대답하였다. “ 못 잡았습니다.” 6 예수님께서 그들에게 이르셨다. “그물을 배 오른쪽에 던져라. 그러면 고기가 잡힐 것이다.” 그래서 제자들이 그물을 던졌더니, 고기가 너무 많이 걸려 그물을 끌어 올릴 수가 없었다. 7 예수님께서 사랑하신 그 제자가 베드로에게 “주님이십니다.” 하고 말하였다. 주님이시라는 말을 듣자, 옷을 벗고 있던 베드로는 겉옷을 두르고 호수로 뛰어들었다. 8 다른 제자들은 그 작은 배로 고기가 든 그물을 끌고 왔다. 그들은 뭍에서 백 미터쯤밖에 떨어져 있지 않았던 것이다. 9 그들이 뭍에 내려서 보니, 숯불이 있고 그 위에 물고기가 놓여 있고 빵도 있었다. 10 예수님께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “ 방금 잡은 고기를 몇 마리 가져오너라.” 11 그러자 시몬 베드로가 배에 올라 그물을 뭍으로 끌어 올렸다. 그 안에는 큰 고기가 백쉰세 마리나 가득 들어 있었다. 고기가 그토록 많은데도 그물이 찢어지지 않았다. 12 예수님께서 그들에게 “와서 아침을 먹어라.” 하고 말씀하셨다. 제자들 가운데에는 “누구십니까?” 하고 감히 묻는 사람이 없었다. 그분이 주님이시라는 것을 알고 있었기 때문이다. 13 예수님께서는 다가가셔서 빵을 들어 그들에게 주시고 고기도 그렇게 주셨다. 14 이렇게 예수님께서는 죽은 이들 가운데에서 되살아나신 뒤에 세 번째로 제자들에게 나타나셨다.

1 Jesus revealed himself again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself in this way. 2 Together were Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee,Zebedee’s sons, and two others of his disciples. 3 Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”They said to him, “We also will come with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4 When it was already dawn, Jesus was standing on the shore; but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, “Children, have you caught anything to eat?” They answered him, “No.” 6 So he said to them, “Cast the net over the right side of the boat and you will find something.” So they cast it, and were not able to pull it in because of the number of fish. 7 So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord.” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tucked in his garment, for he was lightly clad, and jumped into the sea. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, for they were not far from shore, only about a hundred yards, dragging the net with the fish. 9 When they climbed out on shore, they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net ashore full of one hundred fifty-three large fish. Even though there were so many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come, have breakfast.” And none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because they realized it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came over and took the bread and gave it to them, and in like manner the fish. 14 This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples after being raised from the dead.
묵상) 부활하신 예수님께서는 당신 제자들을 새로운 공동체로 초대하십니다. 새로운 공동체는 나눔과 섬김과 희생과 봉사와 사랑의 공동체입니다. 부활하신 예수님은 이 공동체 안에서 새롭게 당신 자신을 드러내 보이십니다. 부활하신 예수님은 당신이 원하시는 때에, 원하시는 곳에, 원하시는 만큼, 원하시는 방법으로 드러내 보이십니다.
제자들이 다시 어부가 되어 고기를 잡으러 나가지만 아무 것도 잡지 못합니다. 부활하신 예수님께서 나타나시어 제자들에게 그물을 배 오른쪽으로 던지라고 하시자 많은 고기가 잡힙니다. 그제야 그들은 그분이 예수님인줄 알아차립니다. 제자들은 예수님 없이는 아무 것도 할 수 없습니다.

1. 자신들이 따르던 스승을 잃고 삶터였던 티베리아스 호수로 다시 돌아온 제자들은 어떤 마음이었을까요? 그들은 예수님과의 지난 시간들을 회상하며 어떤 말들을 나누고 있었을 것 같습니까? 평생 어부로 살았던 그들은 왜 밤새 고기를 한 마리도 잡지 못했습니까? 그들은 자신들을 부르시는 예수님을 다시 만났을 때 어떤 반응들을 보였습니까? 요한은 어떻게 주님을 알아볼 수 있었습니까?
2. 나 역시 삶 속에서 어려움이나 분주함 때문에 나를 부르고 계시는 주님을 놓치지는 않았습니까? 언제 예수님을 일상의 삶 안에서 만납니까? 그분은 내게 어떤 위로를 주시며어디로 초대하고 계십니까?

First Reading : Acts 4:1-12 Gospel : John 21:1-14
Jesus appears at the Sea of Tiberias
In our reading from the Acts of the Apostles for today, St Peter addresses the elders who have arrested himself and St John. He tells them that there is only one name in all the world that can save us and that is the name of Christ. It is strengthening to see Peter – a former fisherman from Galilee – taking on the most powerful of the Jewish authorities and boldly proclaiming the very things that they forbid Jesus from proclaiming and ultimately put him to death for.
Today’s gospel text from John tells of another meeting with Jesus and the disciples after the Resurrection. The meeting we read of today took place by the Sea of Tiberias. When the disciples come ashore they find that Jesus has prepared breakfast for them and as they gather he gives bread to them – reminding them of what he did in the upper room on Holy Thursday night and of his instruction to repeat that sacred action.
Prayer : "Lord Jesus, you are the Resurrection and the Life. Increase my faith in the power of your resurrection that I may never doubt your word nor stray from your presence." - Amen

이탈리아 피아첸차에서 출생한 성녀 프랑카 비잘타가 피아첸차의 성 시루스(Syrus) 수도원에 들어갔을 때에는 불과 7세였다. 그녀는 14세 때 서원을 하였다. 어린 프랑카였지만 다른 모든 자매들에게 올바르게 순종하는 법을 배웠을 뿐만 아니라 신심과 극기에서도 뛰어났다. 그 후 원장으로 피선된 그녀에게 한 동안은 모든 일이 잘 되는 듯 하였다. 그러나 더 많은 세월을 중상과 모략으로 고생하였고 또 심적인 번민으로 괴로움을 당하였다. 그녀는 시토회의 규칙을 따르는 엄격한 가난을 지켰고, 밤마다 성당에 가서 기도하며 지내는 시간이 자는 시간보다 더 많았다. 그녀에 대한 공경은 교황 그레고리우스 10세(Gregorius X)에 의해 승인되었다.
